Should section "Veneration of Goldstein" mention Itamar Ben-Gvir?

[edit]

It's an accepted fact that the current minister of national security of Israel, Itamar Ben-Gvir, previously hung a portrait of Goldstein inside his house. It is in the 2nd paragraph of Ben-Gvir's own Wikipedia page. It seems to me a good example of veneration that is worth mentioning. BenwayPHD (talk) 06:28, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

50-70 casualties

[edit]

in the article it's mentioned that Palastinians "count people who died outside the mosque and people who died of their wounds." Excuse me? This is how we count casualties for all other killings, not some "silly thing Palastinians do" as the article is suggesting. The 50-70 casualty count must be mentioned in the article or this article must immediate be struck as being biased. 75.118.12.202 (talk) 10:49, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Have a look at WP:EDITXY for the best way to suggest changes. You don't need to include your review of the content. What matters is whether the content reflects the reliable source cited. Given that the source says the following, perhaps you could suggest a specific change that better reflects that source and any other sources you would like to bring.
  • "Locals estimate the final number of deaths at between 50 and 70 – and an estimated 250 were injured over the course of the day. After the initial attack inside the mosque, more Palestinians were killed by the Israeli army during protests outside the mosque, outside Hebron’s Ahli hospital, and even in the local cemetery as the dead were being buried."
In the meantime, I have changed it to - In an article commemorating the event's 20th anniversary, Al Jazeera reported that local Palestinians estimated the total number of deaths to be between 50 and 70, with an additional 250 people injured that day.

Video of the aftermath of the attack from news station

[edit]

I had recently come across a 18 minute video containing no audio but showing a walkthough of the aftermath inside the Hall of Isaac.

Among other things, It showed a display of Baruch Goldstein's weapons, which included what I believe to be a Beretta 92F, with one mag extracted. His Galil also laid there, with about seven magazines sorted in three piles. Two of them were taped together jungle style.

The cherry on top was the footage of dead Goldstein. He had green IDF pants with a light green belt, and what appears to be a black jacket with a white undershirt. The lighting was too dark to see his face, but his face appeared to be bloodied beyond recognition.

Here is the video in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWJSQ6sGTVI MKUltralover 33 (talk) 01:20, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinates not displaying in the infobox

[edit]

Greetings and felicitations. The coordinates are still not displaying in the infobox in either mobile or desktop modes for any of my three browsers (Firefox and Safari desktop (I also checked them in mobile mode), and mobile Safari (also checked in desktop)). I'm not sure what else to check or change. —DocWatson42 (talk) 19:44, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
